A shower curtain!

These are some that I liked from (none other than my favorite online retailer) amazon.com.

This Mug!

The Obama campaign has released the limited-edition mugs in response to the ongoing conspiracy theories suggesting that our president was not born in America. In response to the most recent "birther" debacle in New Hampshire (where the State House is supporting a hearing initiated by "birthers" who want to leave Obama off of the state presidential ballot.) Anyway, the mug says born in the USA, and has a copy of the long-form birth certificate. To get the mug, you have to donate $20 to the campaign. I consider the mug less of a political stance and more of a political statment. The statement being that these red herrings are getting annoying and distracting from issues that are relevant to America's citizenry. I may not be able to wait until Christmas for this.

Good page-turning books

Here are a couple of ideas (also, if you are an online shopping person, as much as I love browsing bookstores, if you KNOW a book you want, amazon.com is probably the best place to find it cheap (sometimes you can get used copies of popular books for just a couple of dollars plus 2.99 shipping (these are sold by independent parties (like me) and not Amazon itself). However, if you are buying books/CD's/anything directly from Amazon, you only need to spend $25 to qualify for free shipping.) Also, they have a notoriously good customer service department, I have NEVER heard or read anything bad about them.

Here are a couple of ideas:

Renee Satin Dress

Probably a size XL. It looks a little short, but it would go good with some knee high boots and leggings in the winter! Available on www.alloy.com (free shipping on orders over $25, 15% on orders placed before 11/28.)

Boots!

I want high boots with no heel. Boots that will withstand the blustery winds and unavoidable icy wetness, that ride up close to, or all the way up to the knee. No light colors please. Dark greys, dark suede-y browns or blacks would be preferred. Size 9. The magazine Alloy had some excellent options available--www.alloy.com. They also offer free shipping on orders over $25, and 15% off if you order before 11/28.
Above is the Sienna Boot.
Above is the Morgan Boot.
Above is the Dylan Boot.

To find any of these specific styles, on the alloy webpage, under keyword search, type the name of the boot you'd like to locate.
